Castlefield Gallery New Art Spaces Runcorn: Expressions of Interest Now Open

We are inviting expressions of interest from artists, makers, creative practitioners, collectives, and small creative organisations interested in taking on affordable workspace within New Art Spaces Runcorn.

Located in the Astmoor and Manor Park Industrial Estate areas, these flexible spaces offer room to make, test, rehearse, experiment, exhibit, and develop new work. Whether you need space for painting, sculpture, installation, performance, design, textiles, sound, fabrication, or interdisciplinary practice, we would like to hear from you.

About the Spaces

Three available units that vary in size and layout, offering a range of possibilities for different ways of working. Spaces include both private spaces and open-plan areas, making them suitable for those who prefer to work independently as well as artists and organisations looking to collaborate or share space.

All units are:

● Available with 24/7 access

● Ground floor throughout

● Accessible via ground-level entry

● Accessible bathroom facilities

● Suitable for a wide range of creative activities

● Benefiting from good lighting in most units, and natural lighting in selected areas

● Offered as empty spaces that can be adapted to suit your needs

● Inclusive of utilities / bills, with Wi-Fi to be arranged separately by occupiers

● Low cost and affordable, occupier contributions asked for only and dependent on size and type of space (contributions per occupier in the range of £50 – £100 a month)

The units also have dedicated parking spaces.

Situated in Runcorn, the spaces are well connected by road and public transport, offering easy access from across the North West, including Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, and Cheshire and North West border areas eg.
