Posted on 6 March 2013
Castlefield Gallery is delighted to announce that the next Launch Pad selected from CG Associate member submissions will be a solo exhibition by Kevin J Pocock.
Selected through open submission by Bryony Bond, Curator of Temporary Exhibitions at the Whitworth Art Gallery and Castlefield Gallery’s Deputy Director & Curator, Clarissa Corfe, Pocock’s exhibition will include painting, drawing and film.
The exhibition will preview on Thursday 18 April, 6-8pm (All welcome) and continues from Fri 19 – Sun 28 Apr 2013.
Launch Pads are short exhibitions or performances that punctuate Castlefield Gallery’s main exhibition programme providing artists and curators with the opportunity to use the gallery as a test bed for the production, display and consumption of contemporary art. Launch Pads will feature emerging talent selected from CG Associate members’ submissions (three times a year) and the BA and MA in Fine Art at Manchester School of Art (once a year).
