Join us for the next Associates event with Catharine Braithwaite, arts marketing and communications expert (with a specialism in the visual arts and working with museums), and photographer Michael Pollard who specialises in photography for the arts and heritage sectors, photographing for galleries, artists, museums and libraries.
Through this session, our guest speakers will take Associates on a journey exploring why artists need to photograph their work well, and why this is essential to effectively communicating their practice, securing opportunities, and progressing career ambitions.
Catharine will explore reasons for, and the key considerations to keep in mind when building a strong portfolio of images. Both speakers will share insights designed to support Castlefield Gallery Associates to effectively engage professional photographers, whilst also sharing tips on what can be achieved with limited means.
The session will be hosted by Castlefield Gallery’s Head of Programmes, Matthew Pendergast who will open up the session for Q&A.
