Joe Hartley and the ANEW Recovery Community’s work is coming to London!
They were invited earlier this year by County Hall Pottery to be part of Collaborative, a cross-disciplinary exhibition for the London Design Festival 2025, which explores the creative potential of connection through clay.

Continuing the process behind their work Pos and Negs (2025) — currently on display at Castlefield Gallery in ANEW Way to Peel an Orange — Hartley and the ANEW Community members will present a series of photographs where subjects act and pose as teapots, as well as hand-sculpted teapots inspired by the photographs.

ANEW Way to Peel an Orange is a collaboration between Portraits of Recovery, Castlefield Gallery and ANEW and is part of Chaordic and Recoverist Month: Sept 2025.
