Two exciting exhibitions are opening at CASC in Castlefield Gallery New Art Spaces: Chester on Friday 11 April, 4-6pm.
The first one is Chester Lives in Cheshire Life, an exhibition of early to mid-20th century representations of Chester city and its people from one of the UK’s longest-running county magazines, Cheshire Life, which celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2024.
The other one, Bakestonedale Moor: wind, weather and a mobile artmaking kit, is an exhibition of the doctoral research undertaken by artist Sabine Kussmaul, University of Chester, documenting the development of a visual arts practice on the landscape of the British Peak District.
Exhibitions continue 12 April – 2 May 2025.
