Proforma: New 1-day Contemporary Art Festival for Manchester

Proforma is a new Contemporary Art Festival co-curated by Chris Bailkoski, Lizz Brady and Rory Mullen. The inaugural festival will take place on 28th July at the Dancehouse Theatre, Oxford Road and showcase 20 artists from the region.

To launch the festival there will be a special event including an exhibition and a discussion chaired by festival director, Chris Bailkoski with guest speakers; Helen Stalker, Director of The Turnpike, Leigh; Matthew Pendergast, Curator at Castlefield Gallery; plus, exhibiting artists Nicola Dale and Helmut Lemke at Soup Kitchen on Wednesday 6 June from 6pm-11pm.
