Solar Jar Making

22 June 2013 / 2-5pm

The greatest source of renewable energy we have around us is 149,6000,000 km away. Over the millennia the star we call the sun, not only created the conditions for creating and storing all the fossil fuels we use today, it also provides us with warmth and light. We can also capture the sun’s rays in silicone to store and release it’s power. Come along to this basic workshop to create sun jars. All materials will be provided.

Suitable for ages 10 to 110

£5 per person

*Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  For any adults attending only to accompany a child but not wishing to make their own solar jar should select the correct ticket.  A ticket should be purchased for every person wishing to make and take home their own solar jars.
