Hosted by Helen Wewiora, Castlefield Gallery Director and Artistic Director, November’s Associates’ event welcomes back Leslie Remonato, our gallery Communications & Audience Development Coordinator. This will be the second session in Leslie’s two part series exploring how to communicate your practice.
Leslie will be leading attendees through the ins and outs of promoting their practice, this time with a focus on working with and securing press and media.
Perhaps you have an upcoming exhibition and are looking to secure media coverage? Or are you looking to learn more broadly, about and develop strategies to promote and elevate your practice? If the answer is yes, this session is for you, one not to be missed!
Takeaways from the session will include:
- How to build and maintain a press list and media relationships
- The whys and hows of identifying your target audiences and effectively communicating your story
- How to plan and action a press campaign
There will be time for Q&A.
Leslie Remonato is Castlefield Gallery’s Communications and Audience Development Coordinator. She joined the gallery’s team in 2018, after studying for her degree in Art History & Archaeology, and gaining her Masters from the École Supérieure du Professorat et de l’Éducation in Pau (France). Leslie is the person behind the gallery’s website and social media. She also develops and implements the gallery’s marketing campaigns, and maintains relationships with members of the press.
