David Shrigley – Fundraising Auction
Posted on 7 December 2012
Castlefield Gallery are very pleased to tell you about a fundraising auction organised by Teacup in which works by the internationally acclaimed artist David Shrigley are being sold to raise money for the mental health charity Rethink.
To coincide with his exhibition at Cornerhouse curated by Mike Chavez-Dawson, Shrigley has hand-illustrated boxes of his ‘Anti-Psychotic Tea’ which are being sold via silent auction at Teacup.
The boxes are currently on display at Teacup, and two will be sold as part of a package which includes a tea for two at Teacup and some loose tea bags (so the lucky winners can enjoy an anti-psychotic brew whilst keeping their box intact).
The auction will close at noon on Mon 10 Dec.
Interested parties can bid via silent auction by emailing events@teacupandcakes.com
