Castlefield Gallery has been awarded a Creative Lives Badge by The University of Sheffield’s Creative Lives

The University of Sheffield’s Creative Lives has awarded Castlefield Gallery a Creative Lives Badge for good practice in tackling ageism in the creative industries. Castlefield Gallery has received this award for its support for older artists to engage in a variety of collaborations and create frameworks that encourage an equitable sharing of resources. Programmes like Castlefield Gallery’s bOlder, acknowledge the fact that older artists need opportunities to learn and develop and the space to do so.
