This print depicts an abstract representation of two flowers and was designed by collage artist Jennifer Huck as part of Castlefield Gallery’s collaboration with Manchester School of Art.
Jennifer Quinn Huck’s work explores life in an increasingly digital world. Using a rule-based approach, she examines how people connect, communicate and experience reality through screens. Working with physical collage, she combines archival materials with images sourced online, bringing together historical and contemporary visual cultures. Her compositions reference the visual language of digital interfaces while highlighting the tensions between physical and virtual experience. Guided by patterns inspired by the illuminated manuscript The Lindisfarne Gospels and informed by her regional heritage, her work reflects on how information is shared and how beauty shapes the ways knowledge is understood, communicated, and valued.
