‘Wheel of the Year’ – Nancy Clare McCarthy, Square Print

Wheel of the year is a square print, illustrating the Pagan belief’s cycle of the was designed by Nancy Clare McCarthy as part of Castlefield Gallery’s collaboration with Manchester School of Art.

Art and Design is what Nancy does. It’s what she has always done and she has almost two decades of working for well known design houses. She was an in-house designer for Marks & Spencers and Waitrose, alongside having her designs featured in Paperchase, Sanderson Fabrics, Hallmark Cards, Debenhams, Sainsbury’s and many more big name brands. She also spent several years working in Mumbai, India, designing high end textiles for the European market.

It gives Nancy great joy to now use her big brand design skills to work with independent businesses who are doing good in the world!
