Mok Buakaow and Jessica Tsang will talk about their current residencies at plAAy, Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery and Chinese Arts Centre.

More on: Mok Buakaow studied Fine Art in Chiang Mai University in Thailand before completing a Masters at the renowned Bauhaus University in Germany. She has had exhibitions across 3 continents. In recent years she has been producing clay sculptures and photography to document her work to explore the way it interacts with people and their environments.

More on: Jessica Tsang is currently Young Artist in residence at the European Centre of Ceramics in the Netherlands and will commence her Breathe residency on the back of this opportunity. Previously, she has exhibited in Chinese Arts Centre’s First Step space in 2007. She was shortlisted for Bloomberg New Contemporaries in 2006 and was a selected that year for the Celeste Art Prize. She was the Florence Trust Artist in Residence from 2006-7.
