Celebrate Pride month at New Art Spaces: Warrington!

As part of Culture Warrington’s vibrant Pride programme, creatives will lead free, drop-in workshops for children, young people and their families at Castlefield Gallery New Art Spaces: Warrington, on Saturday 24 June between 10am and 4pm.

An interactive exhibition by Warrington Youth Zone and Culture Warrington exploring relationships, gender and identity can also be viewed in the windows of the space until Sunday, 25 June.

Free drop-in workshops, suitable for the whole family (recommended age 7+) and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Seeking Circo: Circus Skills
In these workshops, fun for all the family is to be had with Seeking Circo under the theme of ‘Express Yourself’. Moving through three different stations you can expect the following: a variety of circus props where you can have the opportunity to learn a new skill or perhaps improve an existing one. With your new wonderful skill why not head over to the costume department… Seeking Circo have all sorts as you play around with what your circus character might look like. And last but not least why not learn a little about the history and uniqueness of Clown Make-up and have a go at designing your own!

Tony Green: Mark Making
Tony Green welcomes you to join this colourful workshop which will be an exciting and energetic experience, exploring different spontaneous mark making techniques for illustration and abstract imagery. Open to all levels with no pressure, playful and fun.
