Artist Alistair Woods (Archives at Play 2) and Kwong Lee (Producer at Factory International, and former Director of Castlefield Gallery) share a passion for the strength and possibilities of archives. In particular, the archives left by the sometimes fleeting outputs of artist led activity.

In this talk, chaired by curator Thomas Dukes, we chat about the ideas and connections that can be brought to light when exploring the histories and archives of artist-led spaces, and artist facing organisations. This in conversation will unpack some of their discoveries, experiences, and thoughts for how an archive can be a part of artist led activity.
