Out Here: Curator Tour 2
Out Here is full of surprising ways artists connect with nature.
Abstract paintings inspired by lichen growing on rocks and trees, landscapes drawn on found coffee cup lids, and artwork made using soil from an artist’s own garden, the exhibition explores stories of identity, memory and the world around us.
Join us on 10 July, as Matthew Pendergast, Head of Programmes at Castlefield Gallery, will lead a relaxed and friendly tour of the exhibition, sharing more about the artists and the ideas behind the work.
Come for a free tea or coffee, ask questions, look closely, and explore Out Here with us. Out Here is exhibiting until 19 July. We’re open Wednesday – Sunday, 12-5:30pm!
