Dr Ananya Jahanara Kabir is lecturer in postcolonial literature at the School of English, University of Leeds. She works on the relationship between political conflict and cultural belonging in South Asia and among communities of South Asian heritage in the UK. She is especially interested in artistic responses to spirituality, memory and place.
