Hire Us

Castlefield Gallery is available for hire for breakfast meetings, seminars and evening drinks receptions. 

As a public art gallery, Castlefield Gallery holds up to eight art exhibitions a year that are researched and curated by the gallery’s Curator. Our exhibitions include  work by regional, national and international contemporary visual artists and provide a unique backdrop to your events and a stimulating talking point for your guests.

The gallery space is arranged over 2 floors. The larger of the two is the lower gallery space, with the upper space lending itself perfectly to more intimate events.  Features of the recently renovated gallery include a balcony overlooking the double height space and huge windows along two sides of the gallery.  The space can accommodate up to 100 people for a standing function/drinks reception, up to 45 people theatre style and between 3-14 delegates for breakfast meetings. (Exact guest capacity is dependent on the concurrent exhibition)

All public spaces in the gallery are fully accessible.

Located behind Deansgate train station Castlefield Gallery is conveniently situated with fantastic public transport links via bus, train or tram in addition to nearby car parks.

BREAKFAST MEETINGS and SEMINARS

8am-12noon £175+VAT

Castlefield Gallery can offer pastries and breakfast muffins on arrival, unlimited tea and coffee, fruit juice, a selection of fresh fruit, still and sparkling mineral water and midmorning biscuits for your guests at a cost of £9+VAT per person. A PA system, data projectors and flip chart and pens can be supplied by prior arrangement and at an additional cost.

* During your mid morning break why not book an introduction to our concurrent exhibition for your guests from a expert member of gallery staff (*20 minute introduction £45+VAT. Must be booked in advance)

DRINK RECEPTIONS

6pm-10pm  £300+VAT

Hire includes two members of staff to assist in your event and wine glasses. A PA system and data projector can be supplied by prior arrangement and at an additional cost. The gallery can also organise, or recommend outside caterers.  We are also happy for clients to arrange their own catering.

*Technical support for your events can also be provided by prior arrangement and at an additional cost.

Additional Information:

The gallery has two gallery spaces including a mezzanine level and lower ground level and encompasses a double height area visible from the street.

The gallery is fully accessible. Facilities include street level access and a disabled access lift to all floors.

Assistance in sourcing materials and technical equipment can be provided at extra cost.

– Castlefield Gallery is not available to hire to artists, curators or organisations to hire for their own exhibitions.  The gallery is not suitable for large events and celebrations including wedding receptions.
