Northern Soul Awards 2017: Results

Thursday night saw the launch of the inaugural Northern Soul Awards 2017 at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester, and the team from Castlefield Gallery was delighted to be presented with a highly commended award in the Gallery of the Year category.

Castlefield Gallery was also shortlisted in the Exhibition of the Year category for Inside Out.

Curator Matthew Pendergast and Communications & Audience Development and Individual & Corporate Giving Manager, Jennifer Dean attended the packed ceremony to receive the award on behalf of the gallery.

The awards were created to celebrate and reward exceptional culture and enterprise in the North of England, including theatres, productions, venues, businesses, galleries and many other projects and companies.
