MIF invites CG’s Director Kwong Lee to have his performance captured

A unique combination of gallery, studio and stage, Ed Atkins’ Performance Capture is one of the highlights of this year’s Manchester International Festival.

Throughout MIF15, Ed Atkins is recording performances from MIF artists, who are reading from Ed’s own poetic script. These performances are then being fed through an array of digital editing technology and mapped on to a computer-generated avatar – creating a figure who is both a distinct individual and an echo of everybody who’s been captured by Ed for the project.

Performance Capture is free entry and open from 10am-5pm daily (to 9pm Thursday’s) at Manchester Art Gallery until Sunday 19 July. For more information, visit performancecapture.net.
