Castlefield Gallery presents a series of talks, exploring works from the exhibition ‘Pass the Time of Day’, alongside ideas around music and art and the notion of the everyday.

For the second talk in the series Anna Dezeuze will discuss ‘Capturing the Everyday in Art and Other Related Problems.’

Anna Dezeuze is Research Fellow at the AHRC Research Centre for Studies of Surrealism and its Legacies, University of Manchester. She has published exhibition reviews in Art Monthly, as well as articles on Fluxus (Performance Research, September 2002), on the Brazilian artist Hélio Oiticica (Art Journal, Summer 2004) and on the everyday in art (Variant, Spring 2005). She is currently co-editing a volume on spectator participation in art from the 1960s to today.
